Swingle Singers - Prelude in F Minor (from Well Tempered Clavier Book II by Bach)

Just watched last night’s episode of Glee on the website.

I totally loved Swingle Singers on the soundtrack of Glee’s pilot episode, and I’m glad it’s an ongoing thing with the series. The Swingle Singers have some really lovely covers of Debussy’s Clair De Lune, an up tempo take on Quam Olim Abrahae from Mozart’s Requiem, the theme from Schindler’s List, the William Tell Overture, the Flight of the Bumblebee…actually, anything they do is cool. It’s pretty interesting how they take instrumental music and make vocal jazz out of it.

Here’s their take on Bach’s Prelude in F Minor. It’s not one of their most exciting, but it was sampled on “They” by Jem a few years back so it might sound a little familiar.
